Phoba

The Phoba are a species of organic and electronic hybrid aliens that are not native to the galaxy. They arrive with a as a vanguard force in the Fomalhaut system with a mothership and a full complement of starships. Although they are not humanoid, their ships can be converted to fit human pilots.

Background: While nothing precise is actually known about the aliens, they seem to share a strict hierarchy very similar with Earth’s social insects. The location of their home-world is unknown but is known the fact that they come in the human space from the Andromeda Galaxy presumed conquered since they have a functional energy transmitter there. They live together in large well-organized colonies that may be so tightly integrated and genetically similar that the colonies of some species are sometimes considered super organisms.
